## Usage ```javascript var Number = require( '@stdlib/number-ctor' ); ``` #### Number( value ) Returns a [`Number`][mdn-number] object. ```javascript var v = new Number( 5.0 ); // returns ```
## Notes - This constructor should be used sparingly. **Always** prefer number primitives.
